MTO Truck Lettering Requirements
Ontario CVOR law is a certificate-carry rule. Door lettering still helps fleets look professional, meet customer and contract expectations, and satisfy US USDOT requirements when crossing the border.
Verified Rule
O.Reg 424/97 requires the CVOR certificate to be carried in the vehicle. It does not create an Ontario exterior CVOR display rule, a 50 mm lettering rule, a permanent door-lettering rule, or a specific Ontario fine for missing CVOR decals.
Truthful Sell
We produce durable, readable fleet lettering for company names, unit numbers, CVOR references, GVW-style text, and USDOT markings. For US-bound carriers, we build to FMCSA 49 CFR 390.21 and cite the authority.
