Hailing Port Lettering — Registered Vessel Requirements Canada
Registered vessels (not just PCL) must display the vessel name and port of registry on the exterior of the hull. The hailing port must be the port where the vessel is registered with Transport Canada.
Under the Canada Shipping Act 2001, registered vessels must display: vessel name on both bows and stern, official number internally, and port of registry on the stern. We produce matching vinyl lettering sets — vessel name + hailing port — in your choice of font and colour, cut from marine-grade vinyl.
PCL Renewal Alert — Your Boat Licence May Be Expiring
Transport Canada killed lifetime licences. Wave 1 expires March 31, 2026. Check if you need new hull numbers.
